We are frequently asked if Clarity can scan various "things" - types of domains, document repositories, etc.
Generally speaking, Clarity can only scan public facing websites unless, for example, you are hosting Clarity on your internal server which you could then "point" to some repositories, etc.
Can Clarity scan my LMS, Google Drive, Shared Drive, etc.?
Generally, no, although you may be able to integrate with the Clarity API, with some custom development work (on your side). We have Clarity API documentation, if needed.
Clarity cannot test files that are in Google Drive. Clarity will also have issues testing PDFs, in SharePoint, DropBox, ShareFile, etc.
A note about scanning:
Clarity, like other web-crawlers, may experience limitations when scanning websites built with extensive JavaScript, or other similar scenarios. In addition, due to increased internet security, your website may block bots and crawlers. Please consult with your Account Executive or your CS representative to learn if Clarity will work in your environment.
